Nordic’s senior summer bucket list: 10 things to do after a long ride on the viking ship
In the senior issue of Nordic News, which is published every year as a tribute to the graduating class, I had the opportunity to explore a unique theme - the cave era. Instead of a traditional article, I was able to unleash my creativity and experiment with new forms of storytelling. The senior issue provided a platform for me to showcase my imaginative skills and think outside the box.
WandaVision: A timeless series
In my article about WandaVision, I took a more casual and conversational tone, allowing myself to express my personal opinions and enthusiasm for the Marvel series. As a Marvel fan, it was a joy to write about the latest show, and I was able to share my excitement and appreciation for the characters and their development throughout the series. I also included some analysis and discussion of the show's themes and style, while still keeping the overall tone light and engaging. The article not only showcased my passion for pop culture, but also allowed me to connect with readers who shared similar interests and created a more personal connection with them.
Marvel Studios: what’s next?
This article, published a year later, was an addition to my WandaVision review. My page-partner and I commented on our predictions for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Making sure to base our opinions using evidence, we came up with 6 small predictions. This was especially difficult for us with the vastness of the possibilities. However, we prioritized based off of probability and worked accordingly.
